WHET TRAVEL PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT AND TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The 2027 Shattered Shores Cruise is non-refundable once purchased. There are no refunds for cancellations, regardless of the reason. The payment of your deposit or any other payment or by attending the 2027 Shattered Shores Cruise confirms that you accept and agree to these Terms & Conditions including our Cancellation Policies.

By completing a reservation, making a payment, enrolling in a payment plan, purchasing a ticket, or attending any event produced by Whet Travel, including but not limited to Shattered Shores, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Whet Travel.
If you make a reservation or purchase on behalf of additional guests, you agree to these Terms on behalf of all individuals included on the reservation.
These Terms apply to all Whet Travel events including but not limited to Shattered Shores (including all sailings operated in partnership with Margaritaville at Sea), destination events, and any future Whet Travel produced experiences.

ROLE OF WHET TRAVEL
Whet Travel acts as the event organizer and promoter responsible for programming, artist bookings, and event production.
Certain components of the event experience may be operated by third party providers including but not limited to cruise lines, hotels, venues, transportation providers, and excursion operators.
Those providers operate under their own rules and contracts and may impose additional requirements.
Participants agree to comply with all policies of Whet Travel and any third party operators involved in the event.
For cruise-based events including Shattered Shores, the maritime transportation, vessel operations, accommodations, and onboard services are owned and operated by Margaritaville at Sea, which acts as an independent third-party cruise line provider. Whet Travel does not own, operate, or control the vessel and is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or performance of Margaritaville at Sea.

CRUISE LINE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
For events taking place aboard a cruise vessel, including Shattered Shores, participants are also required to review and accept the terms and conditions of the operating cruise line, Margaritaville at Sea.
The cruise line’s terms govern all aspects of maritime travel including boarding, conduct onboard the vessel, safety procedures, cancellation policies related to the vessel, and passenger rights.
In the event of a conflict between Whet Travel Terms and cruise line terms, the cruise line’s terms shall control with respect to vessel operations and maritime matters.

EVENT INFORMATION
Event specific information including dates, location, venue, ship, itinerary, or programming will be listed on the official event website.
Event programming, artists, schedules, venues, and experiences are subject to change at any time.
Changes to programming, lineup, schedule, venue layout, or itinerary do not constitute cancellation of the event.
For Shattered Shores, the official event website will include ship details, sailing itinerary, embarkation requirements, and cruise-specific policies as provided in coordination with Margaritaville at Sea.

The minimum age for 2027 Shattered Shores Cruise is 21

PRICING AND EVENT COMPONENTS

Pricing for Whet Travel events may include one or more components depending on the event.
Event admission or programming fee
 Travel or accommodation components such as cruise fare or hotel room
 Taxes, service fees, port fees, or government charges
 Optional add ons or upgrades
Certain events such as Shattered Shores include both a travel component (cruise fare provided by Margaritaville at Sea) and an event programming component (produced by Whet Travel). These components may be bundled or itemized depending on the booking structure.
Gratuities, onboard purchases, and optional upgrades may not be included unless specifically stated.
Cruise fare, port fees, taxes, and onboard services are determined in part by Margaritaville at Sea and are subject to their terms, conditions, and pricing policies.

PAYMENT TERMS
A deposit or full payment may be required at the time of booking depending on the event.
Standard deposits for cruise events may begin at $200 per person.
Suite deposits for cruise events may begin at $500 per person or higher depending on category.
Deposits may vary depending on event type, room category, or promotional offers.
All deposits and payments are non refundable unless specifically stated otherwise in writing.
Remaining balances must be paid according to the payment schedule associated with the reservation.
Payment plans may include
 Pay in Full
 Monthly Payment Plan
 Deposit plus installment plan
Reservations made after the final payment deadline must be paid in full at the time of booking.

AUTOMATIC PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION
By enrolling in a payment plan you authorize Whet Travel to automatically charge the payment method on file for scheduled payments.
Payments may be processed automatically on scheduled due dates.
Payment reminders are provided as a courtesy only.
Participants are responsible for maintaining a valid payment method on file.
Declined payments do not cancel the obligation to pay the balance due.
Whet Travel reserves the right to charge the payment method on file for outstanding balances if the account falls behind the payment schedule.

LATE PAYMENTS AND DECLINED PAYMENTS
If a scheduled payment fails or a payment method is declined, a late fee may apply.
Late fees may vary depending on event or payment plan but may include charges beginning at $50 per person.
If payments remain unpaid beyond the allowed grace period the reservation may be canceled without refund.

THIRD PARTY PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION
Payments made using a credit card belonging to someone not participating in the event may require completion of a Third Party Credit Card Authorization Form.
Failure to provide required authorization documentation may result in cancellation of the reservation.

NAME CHANGES AND RESERVATION CHANGES
The Lead Guest or reservation holder is responsible for managing reservation changes.
Administrative fees may apply to name changes or reservation changes.
At least one original guest may be required to remain on the reservation depending on event policies.
Specific change deadlines and fees will be provided for each event.

OCCUPANCY AND ACCOMMODATION CHANGES
Certain reservations such as cruise staterooms or hotel accommodations are based on occupancy.
Changes to occupancy may result in pricing adjustments based on the current pricing structure.
Room assignments, venue assignments, or accommodations may change if required by the venue operator, cruise line, or Whet Travel.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Reservations for Whet Travel events are generally non refundable.
All deposits and payments are non refundable unless specifically stated otherwise in writing.
Non refundable payments apply regardless of reason including but not limited to
Personal schedule conflicts
Medical issues
Travel delays
Visa or documentation issues
Flight cancellations
Missed embarkation or missed check in
Participants are strongly encouraged to purchase travel insurance.

TRAVEL INSURANCE
Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all participants.
Travel insurance may cover certain circumstances including trip cancellation, trip interruption, medical emergencies, lost baggage, and travel delays.
Participants are responsible for reviewing policy coverage with their insurance provider.

EVENT PROGRAMMING CHANGES
Artists, performers, speakers, or programming participants may change.
Failure of an artist or performer to appear does not constitute cancellation of the event.
Whet Travel reserves the right to modify programming as necessary.
No refunds will be issued due to lineup or programming changes.

EVENT OR TRAVEL COMPONENT CANCELLATION
If an event must be canceled due to circumstances beyond the reasonable control of Whet Travel including government restrictions, natural disasters, public health emergencies, venue closures, vessel mechanical issues, or labor disruptions, participants may receive a future event credit equal to payments made.
Future event credits may include expiration dates determined by Whet Travel.
Whet Travel shall have no additional liability beyond the credit issued.

RIGHT TO MODIFY EVENT OR ITINERARY
Whet Travel and its venue partners reserve the right to modify event schedules, venues, itineraries, or experiences if necessary for operational or safety reasons.
Such changes do not constitute cancellation of the event.

PARTICIPANT CONDUCT
Participants must comply with all event rules, venue policies, and applicable laws.
Participants may be removed from the event without refund if they engage in illegal activity, disruptive behavior, harassment, or actions that threaten the safety of others.

DRUG POLICY
Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited at Whet Travel events.
Participants found possessing or distributing illegal substances may be removed from the event and referred to authorities.
No refunds will be issued.

UNAUTHORIZED SALES OR PROMOTION
Participants may not sell merchandise, promote services, or conduct commercial activity at Whet Travel events without written authorization.
Unauthorized merchandise may be confiscated.

HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Participants must comply with all health and safety requirements imposed by venues, cruise lines, government authorities, or port authorities.
Failure to meet entry or boarding requirements may result in denied participation without refund.
For Shattered Shores, participants must comply with all boarding, identification, health, and safety requirements established by Margaritaville at Sea, including but not limited to passport requirements, check-in procedures, and embarkation deadlines.

SERVICE ANIMAL POLICY
Guests traveling with a service animal are permitted in accordance with applicable laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act, and all applicable cruise line requirements.
To ensure the safety of all guests and the wellbeing of the animal, the following terms apply:
Event Environment Acknowledgment
This event includes sustained high-volume music, dense crowds, lighting effects, and prolonged exposure to elevated sound levels that may not be suitable for animals. By attending with a service animal, the guest acknowledges these conditions and accepts all associated risks.
Control and Responsibility
The service animal must be individually trained to perform tasks for a person with a disability and must remain under the handler’s control at all times. Guests are fully responsible for the care, supervision, and behavior of their service animal throughout the duration of the event.
Restricted Access Areas
Service animals may be restricted from specific areas where environmental conditions present a direct risk to the health or safety of the animal or others. These areas may include, but are not limited to:
• Main stage and performance venues
• Dance floors and high-density crowd areas
• Enclosed music environments
Event staff reserve the right to enforce these restrictions at their discretion.
Safety and Removal
If a service animal is out of control, not housebroken, showing signs of distress, or creating a safety concern, event organizers reserve the right to require removal of the animal from specific areas or from the event.
Protective Measures
Due to sustained high sound levels, guests are strongly encouraged to utilize appropriate protective measures for their service animal, including hearing protection.
Cruise Line Compliance
Guests must comply with all Margaritaville at Sea requirements related to service animals, including advance notification, documentation, and applicable deadlines.
Assumption of Risk
By bringing a service animal, the guest acknowledges the nature of the event environment and assumes full responsibility for the animal’s safety, wellbeing, and exposure to event conditions.


ASSUMPTION OF RISK
Participation in live events and travel experiences involves inherent risks including illness, injury, travel delays, and other unforeseen circumstances.
By participating in a Whet Travel event you voluntarily assume these risks.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA RELEASE
Participants grant Whet Travel permission to capture and use their likeness in photographs, video recordings, or other media for promotional and marketing purposes without compensation.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Whet Travel is not liable for the acts or omissions of third-party providers including but not limited to Margaritaville at Sea, hotels, transportation providers, or excursion operators.
For Shattered Shores, participants acknowledge that all maritime transportation, vessel operations, and onboard services are provided solely by Margaritaville at Sea and are subject to that provider’s terms and conditions.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Whet Travel’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the event programming component of the reservation.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Any dispute arising from participation in a Whet Travel event shall first be submitted to mediation in Miami Dade County Florida.
If mediation does not resolve the dispute it shall be submitted to binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association.
Participants waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.

GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
Venue for disputes shall be Miami Dade County Florida.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms represent the entire agreement between Whet Travel and the participant.
If any portion of these Terms is found unenforceable the remaining provisions remain in effect.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By completing a reservation, making a payment, or attending any Whet Travel event you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

ADDITIONAL BOOKING PROTECTIONS
1. CHARGEBACK VIOLATION
You agree that initiating a credit card chargeback for payments that were authorized and processed in accordance with these Terms constitutes a violation of this agreement.
Before initiating any dispute with a financial institution you agree to first contact Whet Travel to attempt resolution.
If a chargeback is initiated in violation of these Terms Whet Travel reserves the right to cancel the reservation without refund and deny future bookings.
2. FRAUDULENT BOOKINGS
Whet Travel reserves the right to cancel any reservation suspected of fraud, unauthorized payment use, or misrepresentation.
Reservations created using stolen payment methods, false identities, or unauthorized credit cards may be canceled and reported to financial institutions or authorities.
3. RESALE AND TRANSFER RESTRICTIONS
Reservations or tickets may not be resold, auctioned, or transferred through third party marketplaces without written authorization from Whet Travel.
Unauthorized resale listings may result in cancellation without refund.
4. DEFAMATION AND BRAND PROTECTION
Participants agree not to knowingly publish false statements or misleading information regarding Whet Travel, its events, employees, partners, or artists that could damage the reputation of the organization.
Truthful reviews and opinions are not restricted, but intentionally false or defamatory statements may result in removal from events and denial of future bookings.
5. PAYMENT DISPUTES AND CHARGEBACK AGREEMENT
Participants acknowledge that Whet Travel events are time specific experiences that require significant advance financial commitments.
Payments made toward reservations represent authorized purchases for services reserved on the participant’s behalf.
Participants agree that the following circumstances do not constitute grounds for a payment dispute or chargeback.
Artist lineup changes
Schedule or programming changes
Venue or itinerary changes
Personal inability to attend
Travel delays or missed transportation
Failure to obtain required travel documentation
Medical issues or personal emergencies
Initiating a chargeback for authorized payments may result in cancellation of the reservation, recovery of associated chargeback fees, and denial of future participation in Whet Travel events.
This section survives cancellation of the reservation.
6. DIGITAL ACCEPTANCE AND ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE
By completing a reservation, submitting payment, or selecting an agreement checkbox during checkout, you acknowledge and agree that you have electronically accepted these Terms and Conditions.
You agree that your electronic acceptance constitutes a legally binding electronic signature and has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature.
You further acknowledge that the reservation system records the date, time, IP address, and transaction details associated with your acceptance of these Terms.
These records may be used as evidence of agreement in the event of a payment dispute, arbitration, or legal proceeding.
7. MERCHANT RECORDS AND PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION
Participants acknowledge that Whet Travel maintains electronic records of reservations including payment authorizations, payment confirmations, checkout acceptance logs, and reservation details.
These records may include the participant name, reservation ID, transaction amount, payment method authorization, and confirmation of agreement to these Terms.
Participants agree that these electronic records constitute valid proof of authorization for the transaction and may be submitted to financial institutions or payment processors as evidence in the event of a payment dispute.
Participants further acknowledge that payments processed for Whet Travel events represent authorized purchases for event access and related services reserved on the participant’s behalf.
8. ARBITRATION COST RESPONSIBILITY
In the event that a dispute proceeds to arbitration and the arbitrator determines that the claim was filed in violation of these Terms and Conditions or primarily for the purpose of avoiding the non refundable nature of the reservation, the participant may be responsible for reasonable arbitration filing fees, administrative costs, and related expenses incurred by Whet Travel.
Nothing in this section prevents participants from pursuing legitimate claims, but this provision is intended to discourage abusive or bad faith dispute filings.
